Warranty Repair Brands Include: Precor, Peloton, Bowflex, Hoist Fitness, Inspire Fitness, Johnson Health Tech, Life Fitness, Cybex, LifeSpan Fitness, Octane Fitness, Spirit Fitness, Sole Fitness & True Fitness.

Helpful Tips:

  • If your walking belt is not properly lubricated yearly it can put stress on the motor and cause electrical components in your machine to fail. It is important to replace the walking belt on your treadmills every 10,000 miles.

  • It is important to replace any frayed cables on your weight machines to prevent a cable from snapping, which can cause injury.

Disassemble/Reassemble

Disassembly: We can disassemble any piece of fitness equipment in your home and prepare it for an upcoming move to reduce risk of any damage during an already stressful moving process.

Reassembly: We can reassemble any piece of fitness equipment in your home whether we took it apart or another company did. We will also include a full service on your machine once it has been reassembled.

Moving Company vs. Fitness Professional:

  • Although moving companies are capable, many moving companies rely on Fitness Professionals to disassemble/reassemble your equipment to reduce risk of damage during relocation.

  • Fitness Professionals not only disassemble/reassemble these machines daily, we also repair them so we are very knowledgeable in how each machine works and the best way to take them apart.

Equipment Installation

Brand New Equipment Set Up: When you purchase a new machine online most companies don’t offer in-home installation from a Fitness Professional. Ex: NordicTrack Treadmill from Amazon. Pro-Tech will provide you with in-home installation as well as helping you set up your iFit account or any other account your machine offers.

Used Machine Installation: A lot of our customers purchase used machines from friends, family members or online and have a tough time with installation. We specialize in assembling fitness equipment and will always make sure it is properly set up. We also include a full service on your used machine once assembly has been completed.

Common Assembly Problems (when service is not completed by a Fitness Professional):

  • Electrical components are not connected properly: This can cause a short in the machine and could end up damaging the entire thing before you even begin.

  • Belt tension is not correct: This can cause slipping or stress on the motor which could cause long term damage to your new machine.

  • Cables that are not installed properly: The cables can become frayed after a short period of time and require immediate replacement to avoid injury.

  • Overtightening bolts: If the bolts on your machine are overtightened and become stripped they can loosen overtime and then never be able to be tightened again causing a risk of injury.

Equipment Removal

When your machine dies or you no longer have use for it, it can be hassle to have it removed. We offer a removal service that is professional and makes the process less aggravating. Pro-Tech Fitness also believes in giving back to our community so if your machine still works or just needs a minor repair we can remove your machine and contact local associations for donation.
